Welcome to the Diversion Press Block Party!

Today is the last day of the Diversion Press Blog Tour Event.  It has been great--full of ups and downs.  This past week, Blogger has been down, so no new posts could be added.  Certainly, this caused some problems for our blog tour.  However, we hosted most of our great authors and were very fortunate to have many great blog hosts that featured our books and authors.

Throughout the day we will be recapping our blog tour and answering all those pressing questions that you might have!  Many of our authors will be here too!  So, have a burning question ask away and fire up that BBQ!  What's your favorite food to eat or drink to drink at a block party?

  3. I just wanted to leave a sincere thanks for those who reviewed my book, German Jackboots on Kentucky Bluegrass: Housing German Prisoners of War in Kentucky, 1942-1946. I really enjoyed being part of your blogs, the blog tour in general, and your kind comments.

  5. It's been a lot of fun being part of the blog tour and meeting the other authors. I've enjoyed the experience and this new method of getting my book "out there." Thanks Diversion Press for putting this on. As to the BBQ--hamburger with lettuce and tomato.

  8. I would like to thank all of my blog hosts. I really enjoyed visiting their blogs.
And the blog party? Although I'm usually a vegetarian, I'd wait until no one was looking. Then I'd sneak a nice pork barbecue sandwich.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the blog tour, but it did not take long to get the hang of it and it turned out to be pretty neat! Thanks to all who participated and thanks to all the blog hosts!

  10. I had a great time hosting the authors on my blog and would love to do it again any time. I'm with Charles, pork barbecue sandwich on garlic toast and SWEET TEA for gosh sakes. They don't know what that is in the North East!

  11. Heather,
I couldn't agree with you more about the sweet tea. When we were in New York, everyone just looked at me when I asked about sweet tea. Even when McDonalds got it, they didn't know how to make it right. I saw one employee dumping sugar packets into my tea cup. Here in Tennessee, sweet tea is a main food group! :)

  12. I would just like to thank everyone for being so supportive of Diversion Press. As a small press, we must have a collaborative effort to make it work. We couldn't do it without your help and support!

    Sincerely,
    Amy

  13. @Heather, I know what you mean about the sweet tea. I lived in Michigan for so long that I started drinking it without sugar. You just can't sweeten tea after it's cold. Blah!
